GHOST: From the German word 'geist,' for “spirit.” A spectre, phantom, apparition, shade, or wraith. A figure, often described as semi-transparent, believed to be the remaining trace of a deceased person. Ghosts are the favorite subjects of scary tales signed to impress children and some adults.

Submit a Ghost Story

This blog is a collection of Snellville ghost stories. Some will be pure fiction created just for this blog, and some will be submitted by readers. If you have a Snellville ghost story you'd like to share, we will give you credit for it if we use it!

Simply email it to MySnellvilleBlog@gmail.com . Let me know whether it's something you wrote or something that you have heard over the years as a folktale, and if so, if you think it's true or not.

If kids age 12 and under would like to submit a spooky art masterpiece, a grown up can just scan it or take a photo of it. Send it to me at the same address. If it's too scary, we won't be able to use it. (We don't want gory stuff, just ghosts, vampires, zombies and such!)

IMPORTANT: To be considered, the story must have the word 'Snellville' in it.
